This week we learned the word family ip. We reviewed our letter blends and we learned the sight words with and me.
This week in math we learned about data and graphing.
In ELA we learned all about fairy tales and fables. Ask your child if they can tell you the characteristics of a fairy tale and why people tell fables. We also read a lot of dinosaur books. This guy is a dinosaur lover and he was thrilled to learn more dinosaur facts!
In social studies we are talking about the importance of having a job. We are thinking about what job we will choose when we grow up.
In science we talked about Earth Day and how we can take care of our planet by recycling and keeping our world clean.
Some of the students in our class were on our STEAM challenge team. They created this marble maze with the rest of the Back Kindergarten team. I was very proud of them for representing us at the STEAM competition on Saturday.
