This week we learned the world family en. Our blend was st and we reviewed our sight words.
These awesome kids made a 100 on their en spelling tests this week!
This week we learned how to do model drawings in our math journals. We are getting very good at reading story problems and deciding if we should add or subtract.
In science we learned about animals in the spring.
This week we finished talking about trees in the spring.
This week in social studies we studied a lot Black History Month. See if your kids can tell you what slavery, segregation, and the Civil Rights Movement mean. Also, they should be able to tell you about Abraham Lincoln, Carter G. Woodson, Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks, and Barack Obama.
