This week we learned the sight words is, not and play. We learned the number word six. We reviewed all of the letters and sounds.
Thank you to these awesome families for reading over the break! These kids received a special trip to the treasure chest and candy. :)
In math we worked on switching back and forth between adding and subtracting. The kids know to look for the sign and see what operation they need to use. In science we talked about winter. The kids have fun creating winter trees and I forgot to take a picture. In social studies we talked about being a good citizen for the new year.

We had our house color parties on Friday. I happen to be on the orange team, so I was able to snap these photos of the students in the orange team at our winning house party!
