This week we learned the consonants Dd and Ff. Our sight words were a and as. Our color was pink and we finished our shape study with the diamond.
We wrote books about pumpkins!
In math we talked about adding 1 more and 2 more and taking away 1 or 2.
In social studies we learned the story of Christopher Columbus discovering America.
In science we talked about the parts of pumpkins, apples, and trees.

So many awesome volunteers reading with us and practicing counting with us this week. One of them was my mom. :)
We had a really fun lesson with Mrs. Mathew, our librarian, and Mrs. Rada's class. We learned about elections and voting. We taste tested Halloween breakfast cereals and then we voted for our favorites on a graph.
