January 26-30

This week we learned about the ap word family.  We learned the blend pl.  Our sight words were six, for, you, and his.

 Here we are building ap words.

This one is my favorite picture!  Each week we learn that the letter k is very picky who it will stand by.  He will only stand by his friends e, i, and y.  This sweet student is pretending to be k and tell the word that only c will be in the word scrap...since none of his friends are in this word. It is so much fun to watch the kids act out these silly letter personalities that I make up.  :)

This week in math we are studying the 100's chart.  Here we are racing to fill up our charts with our teams.
