March 28-April 1

This week we learned the word family ock and the final blend nt. We also learned the sight words he, she, and get.
We can spell some pretty hard words now.
In math we continued to observe three dimensional shapes.

Ten out of ten on our math tests this week!  One day I decided to have second chance day.  I put a dot by the facts that the kids missed and they had a second chance to correct them and make a 100. I am excited to say that EVERYONE at school on Wednesday morning made a 100.  So proud!
These guys made a 100 on one or more of their Friday tests!
This smartie had a 100 on ALL three of his test on Friday!  :)
In science this week we learned about keeping our Earth clean for Earth day and recycling.
I was very proud of these two.  We had a contest to see if you could draw a diagram of a design that you could create using only items from the trash. One of these guys came up with a bullseye target using a pizza box to play with his nerf guns. The other boy created a cannon that shoots balls of paper from the trash made from a shoe box and an empty paper towel roll.  Pretty creative!
We got to go to the STAAR test pep rally and shake our noise makers to cheer on the testers before their big day.
This sweetie was the Bulldog of the Week from last week from Mrs. Ward's class.
