February 16-20

This week we learned about the word family et, the blend bl, and the sight words; and, what, and be.

Here we are spelling et words.

In math we continued our lessons about adding and subtracting.  The lessons were at a very high level this week!  The children were asked to hear story problems and decide if they should add or subtract. This game was to see if the children could roll a dice and make a fact family of two addition sentences and two subtraction sentences using the numbers they rolled.

In science we learned about dental health.

We have a new friend in our class this week!  We are so glad to have you sweet girl!

Here we are with our trophy from the Firereel Film Festival!  Back Elementary Kindergarten won the People's Choice Award this year for the whole district!  Thank you to all of those who voted.  We even got to be on the announcements to show off our award.

This precious boy was my Top Dog of the Grading period!  He can always be trusted to make the right decisions and follow the rules.  I am so proud of him.
